About the speaker

Erin Lenahan is a Senior Manager of Learning & Development at SoFi, where she is leading the design and launch of the first formal onboarding program for SoFi’s Technology organization. She partners with engineering leadership and HR business partners to connect onboarding with technical ramp-up, org navigation, and culture, and is piloting the program with engineering cohorts before a broader rollout.

Erin is known for leadership development grounded in psychological safety and for technical enablement that engineers actually value. At ServiceNow she designed a psychological safety series for senior managers that improved employee voice survey results by 14 percentage points. At Uber she built mobile engineering onboarding, rebuilt the program for individual contributors moving into management, and later led Ongoing Technical Education and knowledge management for the engineering organization, including a centralized learning hub.

Before moving into tech, Erin spent nearly a decade as a teacher, starting as a New York City Teaching Fellow in the South Bronx. She joined Twitter as an executive assistant and moved into learning by co-building the company’s first global sales manager development program. That classroom foundation, adapting fast and making learning worth people’s time, still shapes how she designs programs today.
