Release Notes
July 2025 through June 2026, ordered by when each feature first launched. Each entry covers what the feature does, who it’s for, and the quarter it debuted.
2026
Q1 2026
Event Recordings
Keep live programs accessible by attaching recordings to your events.
Attach an official native recording directly to an Event or a recurring Event Series, so learners can revisit past sessions or catch up when no live session is on the calendar. Watching a recording does not replace required live attendance, which keeps program structure and compliance intact. Built for teams running onboarding, workshops, or tech-talk series whose live schedules do not always line up with when people need to learn.
Q1 2026
Content Equivalency
One learning step, multiple valid ways to complete it.
Mark two or more items within a Track as interchangeable, so a learner completes any one option (a live event or its recording, or a regional or role-specific variant) and the step counts as done. This supports flexible programs without duplicating Tracks or muddying completion and compliance reporting. Built for program owners who need to serve multiple roles, regions, or formats from a single Track.

Articles
Turn everyday PDFs and docs into structured, trackable learning.
Bring long-form documentation (PDFs, slide decks, handbooks, SOPs, and wiki exports) into PlusPlus, or write natively, and automatically add AI summaries, flashcards, and (soon) quizzes. Articles can stand alone or slot into Tracks to power onboarding, tool training, and role-based programs, with assignment and completion tracking built in. Built for teams whose important knowledge lives in documents that currently sit outside the learning flow.
Q4 2025
Collections
Group related content by theme, no sequence required.
Lightweight, unordered groups of content (videos, guides, articles, labs) organized around a shared theme, without the sequencing of Tracks or the ongoing structure of Channels. Feature them on a Channel homepage, add “explore more” resources at the end of a Track, or build simple topic hubs and reference libraries that are easy to maintain. Built for teams that want fast content discovery and curation without standing up a full program.
Q4 2025
Agentic API & Developer Platform
Your learning platform is now programmable, and ready for AI agents.
PlusPlus is now fully programmable. A suite of APIs (REST, GraphQL, a federated-search Connector, and xAPI) plus webhooks lets teams automate enrollment, sync completion data into HRIS, BI dashboards, and data warehouses, and push content into tools like Slack and Glean. The Agentic API goes further, connecting vetted internal knowledge directly to the AI agents people already use, including Claude, internal GPTs, and federated search, so answers draw on your own experts instead of the open web. Built for platform and L&D operations teams who want to automate manual admin work and meet learners in the flow of work.
Q4 2025
Native Video Hosting
Secure, AI-enriched video hosting built for internal learning.
Upload or link videos directly in PlusPlus, where playback is restricted to authenticated employees and recordings stay with the organization even after the person who made them leaves. Every video is automatically enriched with AI transcripts, summaries, and flashcards, plus AI chapter markers, engagement insights (views, watch time, and drop-off points), and auto-generated thumbnails and preview GIFs. Built for any team that records workshops, demos, or onboarding sessions and wants that knowledge secure, searchable, and measurable in one place.
Q3 2025
Insights & AI Insights
Engagement and sentiment data, now with plain-English AI summaries.
Insights are built into every track, course, event, article, and video, so you can see completion and sentiment, drill from a single metric down to the individual roster, filter by cohort, and act (like sending reminders) without leaving the page. AI Insights adds a plain-English summary at the top of every Insights page, so anyone reviewing the data can grasp the key story before digging into the charts. Built for program owners and stakeholders who need to understand learning data quickly and move from observation to action.
Q3 2025
Guides
Create eLearning from Google Docs and Markdown, no authoring tools needed.
Turn Google Docs or Markdown files into interactive, step-by-step tutorials with syntax highlighting, navigation, and progress tracking, built on the same open-source framework behind Google Codelabs. They publish instantly with no SCORM or LMS authoring, support versioning so learners always see the latest, and gain AI summaries and flashcards. Built for subject-matter experts, especially in engineering, who want to share know-how using the tools they already work in.
Q3 2025
Scheduled Tracks
Run cohort-based programs on a shared timeline.
Take a structured learning path and deliver it to a group on a shared start-and-end timeline, keeping learners in sync and streamlining communication through Slack. Live events are optional: schedule the content, assign or auto-enroll learners, nest one track inside another, and update it anytime as needs change. Built for teams running onboarding, cohort upskilling, or any time-boxed program.
Q3 2025
AI Flashcards
Turn any video into knowledge-reinforcing flashcards in one click.
Generate a set of open-ended question cards automatically from a video’s transcript and summary. Learners flip each card for the answer, mark themselves correct or incorrect, and see a scorecard with a pass threshold at 70 percent, with the option to retry as often as they like. It is a lightweight knowledge check, not a formal test, and it takes no extra authoring work from admins. Currently available for Video and Event Series. Built for teams who want to boost retention from existing video content with no added effort.
Q3 2025
Channels 2.0
A dedicated, branded learning home for every team.
Every team (engineering, sales, marketing, leadership) gets its own branded space with full control over content, access, and notifications, so people subscribe only to what is relevant instead of wading through one noisy feed. Follow-on releases added Featured Content (pin key resources to the top of a channel), Shared Content (surface one resource across multiple channels without duplication), and per-channel notification defaults, so an urgent onboarding program and a quiet reference library can be tuned independently. Built for organizations running many programs that need both relevance for learners and autonomy for each team on a single platform.
2024
Q4 2024
GraphQL API Enhancements
New parameters and queries for multi-user enrollment, Glean indexing, and location-based event search.
The GraphQL API gained a user_emails parameter for querying enrollment data across multiple users in a single call, new glean_indexing and glean_datasource_config queries to support the Glean integration, improved GraphiQL documentation to make the API easier to explore, and a locations parameter for filtering event searches by location.
Q4 2024
Glean Integration
Surface PlusPlus content in Glean with role and department personalization and access-restricted support.
Federated search in Glean now surfaces Tracks, Events, Courses, Videos, Articles, and Codelabs from PlusPlus. Results are personalized by role and department, restricted content is only shown to users with appropriate access, and a Push API allows teams to build custom connectors for additional data sources. Built for organizations that want PlusPlus content discoverable alongside other internal knowledge without duplicating it.
Q4 2024
Channels
Autonomous, self-branded spaces for program managers with independent ownership, access control, and discovery policies.
Channels give program managers their own self-branded space with custom branding, independent ownership, and full access control. Each channel can be set to public, hidden, or restricted, so managers decide who can find and join. Learners subscribe to the channels they care about, discover new ones through the directory, and set custom notification preferences per channel. Built for organizations that want to give individual teams or functions their own learning home without needing central admin involvement in every update.
Q3 2024
Sharable Reports
Share reports with stakeholders via a URL, no admin access required.
Admins can now generate a shareable URL for any report and send it to stakeholders who do not have admin access to PlusPlus. Recipients can view the report in a read-only format without needing to log in as an admin, making it easier to distribute learning data to managers, executives, or program owners.
Q3 2024
Publish Codelabs via API
Publish or republish Markdown-based codelabs directly from a local environment.
Authors can now publish and republish Markdown-based codelabs directly from their local development environment via the API, without needing to go through the admin UI. This fits naturally into engineering workflows where content lives in a code repository and changes are pushed as part of a standard commit and deploy process.
Q3 2024
Scheduled Track Enhancements
Schedule any track, edit scheduled tracks, and nest tracks within scheduled tracks.
Scheduled Tracks now work for any track, not just those with event types, so cohort-based delivery is available for any learning path. Admins can edit a scheduled track after it has launched, and tracks can be nested inside other scheduled tracks to create multi-layered onboarding or training programs.
Q3 2024
MyHub
Personalized homepage surfacing relevant content, events, and connections.
MyHub gives every learner a personalized starting point in PlusPlus, surfacing content, events, and connections that are most relevant to them based on their role, department, and activity. It replaces a one-size-fits-all homepage with a dynamic feed that helps people find what matters without having to search.
Q3 2024
Content Freshness Indicator
Content detail pages show when they were last updated and by whom.
Every piece of content now displays the date it was last updated and the name of the person who made the change. Learners can immediately see whether content is current, and admins can quickly identify stale material that may need a refresh.
Q1 2024
Assessments
More control over completion messages, answer explanations, and post-question content.
Admins can now customize the completion message shown after a learner finishes an assessment, either globally or per-assessment, using rich text. Separate explanations can be set for correct versus incorrect answers, and post-question messages (shown after each question) also support rich text. Built for teams that want assessments to feel polished and instructionally complete.
Q1 2024
Topics Selector in Office Hours & Mentorship Programs
Pre-define topics on office hours or mentorship programs; users pick one when scheduling a session.
Add a curated list of topics to any office hours or mentorship program so that when learners go to book a session, they select a topic before confirming. This keeps sessions focused, makes scheduling data actionable, and removes the back-and-forth of agreeing on an agenda after the booking is made.
Data Processing Notice
In fulfilling our contractual obligations, PlusPlus acts as a Data Processor for customer data and relies on Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Sub-Processor. We notify customers in writing of any new Sub-Processor engaged to handle their data and, where required, provide an opportunity to object. Questions about our data-processing arrangements can be directed to your Customer Success Manager.
