About the speaker

Eric Grant is the Head of Learning and Documentation for the support function at Figma, where he leads the team responsible for enabling support specialists to answer complex product questions from some of the most advanced design professionals in the world.

With a background in English and history, Eric fell into learning and development at a small remote startup in 2012, where he built onboarding programs from scratch and learned to scale alongside a fast-growing company. He went on to train thousands of global support reps at Uber during its most explosive period of growth, gaining firsthand experience in building learning systems for a business expanding across dozens of markets simultaneously.

At LinkedIn, Eric transitioned from an L&D practitioner to a customer success manager and later a data analyst, working with Fortune 10 companies to deploy LinkedIn Learning at scale. It was there that he developed his expertise in learning analytics, eventually completing a master’s in data science from Georgia Tech. He later led a team of 18 at Coinbase, running training for over 5,000 support reps across compliance and customer service.

Eric brings a rare combination of learning design experience and data fluency to everything he builds. He is passionate about measurement, storytelling with data, and the future of how organizations will use workplace behavioral data to prove the impact of learning programs.
